Description:
A lightweight, portable gas detector equipped with catalytic or electrochemical sensors. Weighing only 400 g (including the battery), it fits perfectly in the hand (130 mm H × 67 mm L × 30 mm D). The JB-M4S monitors and displays combustible gases, oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, or another selected toxic gas — up to a total of four selected gases. The JB-M4S represents the latest evolution in gas detection technology. Enhancements include intelligent gas leak recognition based on a built-in 32-bit microprocessor.
Additional features include a waterproof and dustproof design with an IP65/66 protection rating and an impact-resistant rubberized housing. Standard functions include vibration, visual, and audible alarms; automatic calibration; calibration and bump-test reminder lock; and automatic backlight activation during an alarm. All controls and functions are operated via simple, glove-friendly buttons.
The Li-ion battery pack can operate for up to 18 hours and can be fully recharged in 4–6 hours. If the factory charger is lost, the device can be charged using standard Li-ion battery chargers. The JB-M4S is easily calibrated using standard test gas cylinders. It is designed around compact and proven sensors utilizing catalytic combustion, electrochemical, and galvanic technologies. Each sensor is manufactured under the same high-quality control standards that have made these sensors and instruments some of the most reliable and durable monitoring devices in the industry.
