“Low ppb” sensors

"Low ppb" sensors are sensors capable of detecting gases at the level of several ppb.

Low ppb detection systems are used primarily in the analysis of gas fumes on the external space surrounding the manufacturing or processing plants. The construction of the detection system is always associated with a personalized need of environmental impact assessment.

A typical analysis system consists of several sensors located at the suburbs of the plant, integrated with dedicated controller witch periodically downloads and saves data and a central data collection system that connects to individual remote points via a wired or wireless network (LAN, WIFI, GPRS).

List of "low ppb" sensors:

  • Carbon Monoxide (CO)
  • Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S)
  • Nitric Oxide (NO)
  • Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2)
  • Ozone (O3)
  • Sulfur Dioxide(SO2)

The communication of remote measurement points and the transmission of information about gas concentration to the central data collection system can be made with wired or wireless.
